Air-Span Wipll

Airspan's WipLL platform is a low-cost high-performance Fixed Wireless Access system designed to deliver high-speed data, Voice over IP (VoIP) and multimedia services to residential, small business and enterprise customers. WipLL is capable of delivering burst data speeds of up to 4 Mbps (3.2Mbps net) to each customer. WipLL introduces real-time adaptive modulation (2-, 4-, 8-level FSK (Frequency Shift Keying) A simple digital modulation technique that uses two frequencies for 0 and 1. See frequency modulation. ) and auto retransmission Retransmission might refer to:
  • Retransmission (data networks), the resending of packets which have been damaged or lost
  • Replication of a signal at a repeater
request (ARQ (Automatic Repeat reQuest) A method of handling communications errors in which the receiving station requests retransmission if an error occurs.ARQ - Automatic Repeat Request ); features that offer high quality services whilst maximizing spectrum utilization. WipLL is available in both licensed bands (700 MHz (MegaHertZ) One million cycles per second. It is used to measure the transmission speed of electronic devices, including channels, buses and the computer's internal clock. A one-megahertz clock (1 MHz) means some number of bits (16, 32, 64, etc. , 2.5GHz, 2.7-2.9GHz and 3.4-3.8GHz) and unlicensed bands (900MHz, 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz). AS4030 is a high-end broadband wireless system for access and distribution applications, typically used to provide service to business applications and for Cellular/Backhaul Trunking. Based on robust WiMAX-based OFDMtechnology that can provide service in Line-of-Sight and Non Line-of-Sight deployment situations, AS4030 can deliver just IP, or IP and E1/T1s services. The product is ideally suited to providing service bundles to small and medium business consisting of a dedicated 2Mbit/s IP connection combined with a full or fractional E1/T1.
